Darl Bruner has been faithfully serving on Nampa City Council since taking office in 2016. Additionally, he has served on various boards and commissions throughout his time, including Nampa Development Corporation and the Wastewater Design Review Committee. Darl was born in Nampa and has given much of his time in service to our community.

Darl has volunteered for several organizations during his time in Nampa: NAIA National Men's Basketball Tournament; Boy Scout Troop 112; Northwest Christian Credit Union; Healthy Nampa Healthy Youth Coalition. He is currently an active member of the Nampa Lions Club, the Concerned Citizens of Canyon County Coalition, and serves through the Mentoring Network.

We will be honoring him on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. as he transitions off of Nampa City Council. Please join me in thanking Darl Bruner for his years of service to Nampa.

The City of Nampa's Planning and Zoning department has launched an educational series called, "A Citizen's Guide to Planning" and will be releasing new topics each month. The latest topic on comprehensive plans is now available to read in print or watch on video (below).
