Fundraising Dinner to Help Ukrainians | Three Chopt Church invites you to a benefit dinner on May 13 to raise funds to support Ukraine citizens affected by the ongoing conflict with Russia. Meet individuals and families that are healing and growing in their new communities and the leaders of ministries assisting them. Dinner will feature Ukrainian cuisine. Brandermill Hosts Barbershop Group | On May 13 at 3:00 p.m., Brandermill Church presents a concert by the Virginians Barbershop Chorus. The ensemble performs traditional barbershop, doo-wop, gospel, Broadway, pop, and contemporary a capella music. Admission is free. A freewill offering is appreciated. | |

Registration Open for PW Summer Gathering | Join Presbyterian Women in Synod of the Mid-Atlantic at their first in-person gathering since 2019. The event will be held at Massanetta Springs June 8-11. 2024’s gathering will be virtual, so as not to conflict with the PW Churchwide Gathering in August. Register by May 15 for a discount. | |

Happy retirement to Rev. Kathryn Korbon, a counselor with Careworks in Charlottesville, who completed her service on February 28. May the God of Grace richly bless and watch over you.
- Welcome Rev. Russ Kerr to the Gayton Kirk in Henrico where he is serving as a parish associate. Russ also serves as student engagement coordinator at VCU's Pace Center.
- May God bless and lead Rev. Fred Holbrook on his service as interim pastor with First Church in Charlottesville which began May 1. His term will cover the sabbatical leave of Rev. David Forney.
