A Message From Our CEO

Hello Everyone,

Happy Spring!

Despite unpredictable weather, when I think of Spring, I think of new growth, opportunity, and brighter days ahead. I hope this is true for you and our clients as well.

I am excited to see you all in-person at our All-Staff Meeting on Friday at the Columbus Zoo. Much will be covered and we will enjoy some teambuilding time too.

Thank you for all you do for Homefull and see you then!

Development Updates

Golf Outing Fundraiser

As you may have seen on our website, social media, or All Staff email...

Homefull has opened up registration for our Hole-In-One-Fore-Homefull golf outing fundraiser. May 10th is the date and Locust Hills Golf Club in Springfield is the place!

We consider each of you as a member of our Development Team, so here is how you can help.

  • Please share the QR Code (above), Event Sponsor Menu, Player Registration Form far and wide with those you know as we are seeking Sponsors and Players. Folks can learn more and register securely on-line at: https://www.homefull.org/golfouting
  • Any staff member who secures a playing foursome or Hole Sponsor level or above will earn 8 hours of Development PTO (to be taken as ½ days or full day at your choosing once approved by your supervisor). While not listed on the attached Sponsor Menu and available to Homefull staff only as a way to support the Golf Outing, we are offering a “Bogey Buddy” sponsorship option for a gift of $50. Yourself or a family member, friend, or contact of yours can support this in your name and you will earn 2 hours of Development PTO allowing you to leave work early or come in late on a day of your choosing (with prior approval by your supervisor). “Bogey Buddy” is listed on the online player registration link as an option to support Homefull instead of playing. We request that your player registration or sponsorship be secured and fully paid as soon as possible and by 4/15/24.

You do have the option to select payroll deduction for a sponsorship to earn PTO. If you choose this option, you will pay in full through payroll deduction and will not go through the website - just complete this payroll deduction form and email the completed form to angelica.clark@homefull.org.*You have until Friday April 5th to complete and turn in the payroll deduction form to angelica.clark@homefull.org.*

Thank you in advance for your support of this important Homefull fundraiser!  FORE!

16-Acre Project Update

Construction on the Healthy Living in West Dayton campus continues to move along well. The focus is now on the interior of the building as drywall is getting finished, ceiling grids are going in and painting is happening. Bathrooms are also getting tile installed. Mechanical rough ins continue and IT cabling will begin soon. On the exterior of the building, the large glass window installation has begun with a completion estimated sometime in early April. There are a few delays of electrical components so the move in/opening of the spaces should be sometime in the fall.

Success Story: SNAP to it!

A family with children at our Dayton Family Living Center (FLC) Permanent Supportive Housing program had for quite some time been unable to successfully apply for and receive Food Stamps. With the help of FLC Case Manager Pam, this household re-applied and now has monthly food assistance. Mom is happy to have more resources to put toward her monthly food budget and feed her kids!

Food Stamps, known nationally as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can be accessed electronically via the SNAP-EBT Ohio Direction Card.  https://jfs.ohio.gov/cash-food-and-refugee-assistance/food-assistance

Homefull food programs, such as our Mobile Grocery, proudly accept SNAP-EBT and Ohio Direction Card!
