"This night won't last forever, but our memories always will."

HOMECOMING! This week the city streets of Elkhorn and the youth in our district will be adorned with purple and gold and all things team spirit! This is a week of celebration and a time to create memories, and not just for those currently enrolled in the Elkhorn School District, but for the entire community!

Join in the fun this Friday, at 4pm, when the band, the sport teams, the floats and the Homecoming King & Queen will parade downtown with the firetrucks and buckets of candy!! Grab the popcorn, your favorite 1HERD hoodie, and cheer on the Elkhorn Elks to victory against Waterford at the 7pm homecoming game! Everybody be cheering, "LET'S GO ELKHORN, LET'S GO"!
Hey?! Do you have a front window? Do you have a front window begging to be decorated? Do you have a front window begging to be decorated with PAINT?!

"Go Elks", "1Herd", and "2021HOCO" are each exceptional choices to be painted in Elkhorn colors on the front of your business! Here at the Elkhorn Chamber we are lucky to have many windows to help cheer on the home team!
Homecoming is full of traditions and memory making customs. We hope you show your team spirit this week and celebrate this monumental occasion in our youth's lives! The question that everyone is dying to know is...how much toilet paper are you willing to part with to decorate the front lawns and school yards this year? We hope your answer is, "ALL OF IT"!

LEARN & GROW
Fiber is what gives strength and structure to plants. Most grains, beans, vegetables, and fruits contain fiber. Foods rich in fiber are often low in calories and fat, and they fill you up more. They may also reduce your risks for certain health problems. To find out the amount of fiber in canned, packaged, or frozen
foods, read the Nutrition Facts label. It tells you how much fiber is in one serving.
