A Campaign for improving the Improving Safety, Lighting, Access, Play Space, Parking and the Environment 2024

Have you noticed the potholes and fading markings between parking stalls? Maybe you’ve seen the deteriorating equipment in the play area. Some outside lights work, some don’t. The crosswalk, speed bump and path to the Nature park needs fixing and the security cameras don’t cover all the places we need. Emergency exits from the sanctuary need attention too.

It’s time! The Council will soon be proposing a major campaign to address “Outside at Our Savior’s” with contractors, volunteers and your financial support.

First and Third Sundays Help Feed

Families in Need

Our Savior's volunteers provide food on the first and third Sunday of each month at Everett's Hot Meal program at Central Lutheran.

First Sunday: Volunteers make sandwiches at Our Savior's after worship. Contact Troy or Nancy Wessman. Volunteers are needed at Central Lutheran at 4pm to serve and clean up. Contact Leasha Bloomfield

Third Sunday: Volunteers are needed beginning at 3pm to cook, serve and clean up. Contact Christina Aho

Occasionally: A substitute Kitchen Boss is needed to plan, shop and lead meal prep. Please let Leasha or Christina know if you are willing to fill in occasionally.

Middle School Retreat

April 26-27, 6-8 graders will gather at First Lutheran Church in Richmond Beach with other middle school students from the synod. The conversation will be about what prayer is and why we care. We will Worship, play games, explore the beach, be creative, and grow in our faith. Cost is $50 to register and includes all meals and activities. Register with Kendyll.
