HOLY WEEK INSPIRATIONS

Holy Week is the week from Palm Sunday to Easter. It starts with a parade for Jesus and includes Jesus making people leave the temple who were not treating it like God's house. Also the Last Supper happened that week along with Jesus washing the disciples' feet, praying in the Garden, getting arrested and going to the cross. But the week continues with Jesus rising from the dead on Easter. What an exciting week for Christians! God sent Jesus to teach people and to show people how to live. And that helps us know how to live, too!

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Today's Scripture Reading

1 Corinthians 11: 23-25 (NIV)

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
