Holy Faith Gives Thanks for a Bequest Received this Summer from the Estate of Oscar Haab

Holy Faith gives thanks for a bequest received this summer from the estate of Oscar Haab, directed to us by Mr. Haab’s niece, Ms. Marie Boone.

A Legacy Gift such as this touches and transforms lives! When you remember Holy Faith in your estate plan you water the ministries of the future, strengthen the congregation, and help people to find and be found by Christ. Legacy Giving keeps the church vital and strong into the future.

Mark Your Calendars for the Next Superstar Leadership Gathering: Thursday, July 25th, 10 AM - Noon

Ms. Carmen Piggins from the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan will offer an in-person Safe Church training, required for all Ministry Team Leaders and recommended for everyone. The training is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.

Safe Church training is available online, but it’s a lot more fun in-person and together. Carmen will present the Universal Training (required). That module will conclude at noon. She will stay to offer the specialized (optional) training for those who are interested.

Festive refreshments will be served. Safe Church training credentials are good for 3 years, so if it’s been a minute, consider registering.

This Summer – Join Holy Faith’s Efforts to Forgive Medical Debt for Our Neighbors & Root Out an Underlying Cause of Hunger

We have already raised over $3,800! When you see our flyer posted in area businesses be sure to say thank you and let them know you are from Holy Faith. We are partnering with Undue Medical Debt, a charity that buys medical debt in bundles.

So for every $1 we raise, Undue will buy up $100 of debt. Holy Faith aims to raise $10,000, essentially buying up $1 million medical debt in Washtenaw, Wayne, and Jackson Counties. The PLT has designated up to $5,000 in Memorial Funds to match gifts made by others. Grab a flyer to have in your car and post it to spread the word. Contact Outreach Coordinator, Janet Cook, with questions: janet.cook114@gmail.com
