Registration is now open for the 2nd annual Elementary Color Run! This year the Color Run will be part of the Back to School Palooza held at Holliston High school. While the Palooza is open to everyone, the Color Run continues to be just for elementary students in PreK to 5th Grade (ages 3-11).

WHAT IS THE COLOR RUN?

Well… it’s more of a color party! It is a ½ mile loop where you run, walk, hop, skip, or jump from color station to color station. At each station volunteers will be throwing colored powder – plan to get messy and colorful from head to toe! Registered runners can loop as many times as they want and have excess color powder blown off at the end. There will be music, the Kona Ice Truck, & lots of color-throwing! Older siblings are welcome and eligible to volunteer as color-throwers with parent supervision.

REGISTRATION

Click the button below to register online. Participants can also register in person the day of the event at 9AM at the front entrance of the High School.

Children in grades PreK-5th grade (or ages 3-11) are eligible to participate.

Registration is $15 per runner with the option of adding on a t-shirt. T-shirts will not be available as an add-on option after 8/1.

All registered runners will receive a ticket for a FREE Kona Ice!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

For the Color Run to happen, we need as many volunteers as possible!! Volunteering is a fun way to be part of the Color Run without registering, running, or getting covered with too much color (volunteers will likely get some color - dress accordingly!). RUN DETAILS

Runners will go in waves based on grade. If your runner wants to run with a sibling or friend in a different grade they can based on your judgment of ability.

9:00AM: Registration/Check-in begins (please come to the check-in area if you have signed up online for the run or are registering day-of)

9:30AM: Color-Free Wave (this is a chance for any registered runners to walk or run the loop before the colored powder enters the air)

9:45AM: Pre-K and Kindergarten

10:00AM: 1st and 2nd Grade

10:15AM: 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Kona Ice – Registered runners get a ticket for a free icy, but they are available to purchase for everyone!
Colored Powder: 98% Cornstarch, 2% Food-Dye
