DEAR MOA FRIENDS,
In an effort to ensure that your thoughtfully-chosen gifts arrive in time for holiday gift-giving, we have a few deadlines to make sure that your maps and prints will be delivered on time.
If you are ordering a custom framed item: Deadline to order is Dec. 5
If you are ordering a custom reproduction: Deadline to order is Dec. 12.
If you are ordering an unframed item: Deadline to order is Dec. 22.
If you miss the deadline, do not fear! We have been known to make miracles happen! Joking aside, we can probably still help you if you miss the deadline, so please feel free to ask- express shipping is available on request. Of course, once the package leaves our shop and begins its journey, we no longer have control over the shipping. We have had great success sending our maps around the world in a timely manner, but better safe than sorry, so please order early!
If you are still looking for gift-giving inspiration, look no further! We have assembled another sampling of some popular gift ideas. To find the map on our website, simply click on the map image.
For the Last Minute Decorator
Desperate to freshen up your home's decor before the onslaught of holiday parties, visitors, and other guests? These framed antique prints seem to subtly celebrate abundance, and are also a dignified nod to a classic song of the season (the partridge knows that pears are perfect for the holidays).
To order, please give us a call! You can purchase these as a set or individually.
For the World Traveler
What better way to celebrate your friend or family member's wanderlust than with a map of the world? This example is a digitally-engraved specialty reproduction

For the Urbanite
This bright and detailed print compares the heights of the tallest buildings of the world (as of 1894). The Eiffel Tower is pictured in the right corner because it was so tall that it couldn't be included with the other buildings! Unfortunately, modern scanners and digital photos can't do justice to the delicate lines of prints like this one, but the image is perfectly clear in person.

For the Genealogist
Wherever in the world your family is from, we have a map that shows it! The person on your list who loves to research ancestry will be "pleased as Punch" with a map of the place where their family's roots begin.
For the Entomophile
Whether their interest is in moths, butterflies, or something else, we probably have an antique print that will please the insect-lover in your life. This small print by W. Wood shows 36 different species of moth arrayed to make their differences more noticeable and easier to study.
