Need more room?
Anyone getting married, having a birthday, anniversary, retirement party or other cause for celebration?
If you're on a budget but need a room that's "not at our house," try parking it at the Gary Weikel Room at Willis Tucker Community Park.
Not too big, not too small, the Weikel Room accommodates up to 100 guests comfortably.
And, should you wish to toast your special occasion, no problem -- beer, wine and champagne are allowed with purchase of permit and insurance.
Check out the Gary Weikel Room. It's not at your house, but it just might be in your back yard. Call 425-388-6600 for reservations or a tour. |

Lake Stickney County Park ribbon cutting ceremony
Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.
13521 Manor Way, Lynnwood, WA
The Snohomish County executive John Lovick, council chair Stephanie Wright, Lake Stickney Conservancy, elected officials and county parks advisory board invite you to celebrate the opening of the Lake Stickney Community Park site.
Snohomish County Parks and the Lake Stickney Conservancy have hosted four volunteer clean-up and invasive species removal events with support from REI and Edmonds Community College. The community wants to keep the vast majority of the site as natural area with the additional amenities of soft-surface trails, picnic shelters, a small neighborhood off-leash area and a playground.
We appreciate the great neighbor/community partnerships and look forward to completing more park acquisitions and projects in 2014. |
Miner's Corner county park ribbon cutting event
County Executive John Lovick and county Council members truly appreciated the more than 150 citizens who attended the Miner's Corner ribbon cutting ceremony, Saturday, Nov. 23, and are thankful for the great community support for our county parks.
The shelter at Miner's Corner offers six picnic tables and electricity with water, restrooms and the "awsomest" playground just steps away. Click here to reserve the shelter now for summer weekends or contact the parks call center at 425-388-6600. Shelters sell out fast so get your reservations in early. |
