Christine Mangold, HP (Germany) Classical Homeopath
Christine Mangold is a classical homeopath and holistic healthcare practitioner licensed in Germany (Heilpraktiker/HP). She is a graduate from the renowned Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, in Point Richmond, CA, where she attended a 4 years in-depth professional training as a classical homeopath. Growing up in Switzerland, Christine was exposed to homeopathy from a young age. Her chronic eczema and asthma symptoms were cured by it, making her a passionate advocate for this potent, yet safe and gentle form of treatment. Her extensive travels brought her an insight of the high number of countries successfully using homeopathy and made her aware of its under-representation here in the United States.
After a fulfilling career as a high-end womenswear fashion designer, she decided to dedicate her efforts to her lifelong passion: promoting health trough homeopathy. Her treatment goal is to find a constitutional remedy for her patients, taking into consideration the whole person, in order to alleviate symptoms and achieve long-term improvement to their health and well being. more... Kristin Rotblatt, LAc, MTOM
Kristin Rotblatt, LAc, MTOM, is a licensed Acupuncturist, with a master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. With over 30 years' experience in the area of nutritional counseling, herbal medicine and nutraceuticals, she focuses her practice on neurotoxic illness with an emphasis on toxic mold exposure and heavy metal detoxification.
Because her specialty is healing the body at the cellular level, she is an expert at diagnosing the root cause of health challenges. She believes that many "new millennium diseases" are a result of our poor diet and toxic environment which causes widespread cellular inflammation. Our toxic burden starts to disable the cell's ability to function properly. And when the toxic burden is too high, the cell membrane turns impermeable and loses its ability to accept nutrients.
At the same time, the inflamed cell membrane will be unable to release toxic by-products and free radicals from inside the cell which are produced as a result of metabolism and the manufacturing of ATP (energy). When this occurs, our cells are suffering from inflammation and toxicity both inside and outside the cell. Because of these factors, we must remove the source of the toxins, reduce inflammation, increase cellular energy, and increase the cells ability to make glutathione (the master antioxidant) and repair and heal the cell membrane.

How to "Winterize your Body" and keep healthy during the Holidays
Here we are in the midst of an unusually chilly December here in Southern California. In the past, when the rest of the country was suffering through freezing temperatures, we were usually walking around with a light jacket
and flip flops. Not so this December. The cold wind is blowing and those rhino viruses that get activated in cold temperatures are just waiting to pounce. So as we head into the last days of the Holiday season, there are a few things we can do to boost our immune system so we can stave off the flu beasties. We have all been hearing about Vitamin D3. It is the big buzz word these days. Many of my patients come into my office already taking this newly popular nutrient. Because it is a fat soluble vitamin, it is wise to have your Vitamin D3 levels tested. However, during the flu season, it is safe to take 2,000 IU's daily. In fact, it should be one of your go-to anti-viral nutrients when you start to feel those cold and flu symptoms starting to blossom.
My suggestion is to take 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 for 3 days only at the start of a cold, flu or infection. Also, I would suggest getting a Vita D3 supplement that contains Vitamin A and K2. It was recently discovered that these nutrients work synergistically and if one is deficient, you can develop a functional deficiency of the others. The one I highly recommend is VitaD3 by Systemic Formulas. Recently, a patient came to see me complaining of a vicious sore throat and laryngitis. She had not been taking anything to support her through the flu season. I handed her the VitaD3, she took 3 droppers that day and by the next morning all her symptoms were gone. more... |
Weight Loss Program now offered by Dr. Jessica Marier Give yourself the Gift of Health
Start the New Year off right with a natural, safe, rapid, and effective weight loss program. The Ultra-Lite weight loss program is a balanced program based on a ketogenic diet system, although it is not a high protein diet plan. Ultra-Lite was created based on independent studies done by dieticians, doctors and scientists at Harvard University.
This program is centered upon eating the right food and correct portion sizes, which makes for an easy transition to eating well for life. Those who enter the program are also supported by packets containing nutrients, minerals, and amino acids taken between meals, to boost your fat burning metabolism, and to reduce cravings. Many people experience dramatic health benefits as a result of balancing their protein to carbohydrate ratio. Diseases such as Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and insulin resistance have been greatly improved by those participating in the Ultra Lite weight loss and detox program. more...

Anthroposophic Wraps and Poultices Jan/Feb 2012 (upcoming workshop) by Christine Mangold HP, Classical homeopath
Wraps and poultices have been used for decades as a natural means to alleviate pain and symptoms. A staple of Anthroposophic medicine, wraps, compresses and poultices are still in use in many European countries, and are regaining popularity as a safe alternative to over-the-counter drugs. They can be of great use for the well being of the whole family, and especially for the management of children's illnesses. This 2-hours workshop will cover: leg/calf wraps for fever reduction, poultices for ear infections, lemon wraps for sore throat and Arnica wraps and compresses for sprains.

Homeopathic Medicine Now at Lotus visit our new homeopathy page | | What is Homeopathy? |
What is Homeopathy?Homeopathy is an effective and scientific system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself... moreIs it really that simple?Yes, that simple and as I'm about to explain, that complex. One person's allergies are not necessarily exactly the same as another person's allergies... moreIs homeopathy safe? Homeopathy is safe and effective in both acute and chronic disease without side-effects. Pregnant women and babies can use this therapy without concern... moreHow quickly will I get better? This depends on what sort of illness you have and how long you have had it. A very slowly developing complaint, such as a stomach ulcer or arthritis will not disappear overnight... more |
