The Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival makes its triumphant return from Friday, June 3 to Sunday, June 5. You're invited to join the festivities and enjoy live performances on streets, stages, and venues throughout Orangeville. The impressive schedule of over 75 acts is complemented by events and activities that will keep you strolling and strumming all weekend long.
The festival kicks off with the popular Blues Cruise at 5 p.m. Vintage cars line up on Broadway to set the scene with a classic vibe. On-street music amplifies the evening's energy and the TD Broadway Stage opens at 5 p.m. with Sandra Bouza followed by the Erin Mccallum Band and Danny Marks. Performances on the TD Main Stage in Alexandra Park start at 8 p.m. Larry Kurtz & The Lawbreakers, with special guest Harrison Kennedy, will hit the stage first followed by The Legendary Downchild Blues Band.
Farmers love the festival too! The Orangeville Farmers' Market will operate in a special location on Broadway from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Downtown Ramble continues all afternoon, giving you a chance to enjoy live music while you shop and dine in our scenic downtown area. Head to the Market on Mill Street from 12 to 8 p.m. for even more shopping, food, and entertainment.

If you're looking to fine tune your creative skills, don't miss a series of workshops at the Orangeville Public Library. Discuss Songwriting with Adam Karch, play Blues & Jazz Guitar with Mike Goudreau, and test your singing skills at the Jazz Vocal Boot Camp with Heather Bambrick.

Join the toe-tapping New Orleans style Jazz March with the Heavy-Weights Brass Band at 1:30 p.m. followed by performances on the TD Broadway Stage until 7:30 p.m. Be sure to get your tickets for the impressive line-up of performances at the Opera House and on the TD Main Stage. A day pass is $10 or purchase a weekend pass for just $20. Youth aged 16 and under are free.
The Bikes & Blues event keeps the festivities going on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with hundreds of motorcycles on display along Mill Street and Broadway. The music begins again at 12 p.m. on all three stages with the final act - 2022 Juno-Award Nominee Miss Emily - wrapping it all up at 4:30 p.m.

Eat and drink to the beat

The Orangeville Blue & Jazz Festival is truly a community celebration and many of our local restaurants, pubs, and cafes join the fun by hosting their own live entertainment line-ups. It's the perfect way to experience Orangeville's first-rate selection of culinary offerings while never missing a beat. Some spots extend their service onto expanded patios while others offer smaller, more intimate venues. Whatever your preference, you can find them all using our digital guide or by downloading the free Driftscape mobile app. In both cases, just filter on "events" to find fantastic ways to eat and drink your fill during the festival.
Meet Larry Kurtz
Founder & Artistic Director,
Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival

Larry Kurtz has always loved music and in 1999, he got hooked on the idea of bringing blues and jazz music to Orangeville. He knew there was an audience here, and with support from his family and friends, he made it happen. The first Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival was held in 2003 and the rest is history.

About the festival, Larry says, "I love the people. I obviously love the music too, but seeing everyone come together - the artists, the volunteers, the community - and hearing their stories and experiences, that's what it's all about."
