Last night’s Sports Banquet was a blast from the past, staying true to this year’s Back to the Future theme by honouring the great times we’ve had in athletics at Sacred Heart over not only this past year, but the past six years! Guest speaker Zoe Boosamra ’20 reminded our athletes not to be afraid to set goals that seem impossible as she shared her journey from the Saints to playing on Harvard’s hockey team. Awards were given to outstanding players in their sport, and the evening ended with a special celebration of athletic director Ms. Megan Littman’s twelve years at Sacred Heart. Once a Saint, always a Saint!
Congratulations to special award winners Alyssa ’26 (Dawn Cumming Junior Athletic Award), Maya ’24 (Mary Jean Watson Athletic Award, Julia Cianci Award for Excellence in Athletic Leadership), Kiara ’23 (our first Grade 12 student to win the Award of Honour!) and cadet basketball team and Coach Shawn Bowen (Team of the Year)!

Your official Ministry of Education transcript is available online, and you must register and create an account with your permanent code to get your results in July. Please see the attached documents guiding you on how to create an account. Please note that you should use a personal email and NOT your Sacred Heart email to create this account.

A huge congratulations to our cadet flag football team and their coach, Ms. Littman, for their incredible showing at this week’s RSEQ GMAA championship game! Our Saints played a strong game despite the rain and always had each other’s backs, all the way through to the game’s nail-biting overtime finish. We are so proud of our cadet team for their amazing season and this week’s silver medal win!
Toutes nos félicitations à l’équipe cadet de flag football et leur coach, Mme Littman, pour leur incroyable performance lors du championnat du RSEQ GMAA ! Nos Saints ont joué un jeu solide malgré la pluie et ont fait preuve d’un excellent esprit d’équipe, se soutenant tout au long du match jusqu’à la fin de la prolongation. Nous sommes très fièr·es de notre équipe cadet pour leur saison exceptionnelle et pour leurs médailles d’argent remportées cette semaine!

The Alum Association was back in the School today to wish the students " Good Luck on their exams'' . Freezies were given out and there was a draw to win a piece of merch from the Alum Association's NEW "The 1861 Shop".

Book returns are approaching! When you are done using them, please bring all your books to the Book Room, located on the second floor near the Dining Hall.
- During the last week of school you can bring your books at 8 AM before classes, during lunch, or after school before 4 PM.
- The Book Room will be closed on June 5th.
- During desk and locker cleaning, the Book Room will be open. After desk and locker cleaning, Mx. Sander will be waiting by the Penfield doors to take your pair of locks, preferably with your name and combination attached.
- During exams, you can bring your books and locks between 1 and 4 PM. The last day to return items is June 20th.
- If by 4 PM on June 20th, we are missing books and/or locks, you will be charged to replace the books and not reimbursed your lock deposit.
