Enter to learn, go forth to serve.
HPHS Alumni graduate with this motto and begin the next chapter of their lives. Alumni take many different paths as they navigate their life, career, hobbies, family, and more.
While we have several HPHS Alumni who have chosen a life in ministry of all kinds, two HPHS Alums from back-to-back HPHS classes are currently serving together at a large Dallas Episcopal Church.
What are the odds that two HP grads who went down two different paths of education and career, would end up being ordained and working in the same church?
Thomas Kincaid '01(left) and Chase Skorburg '00 are leaders in their field, their community, and their church.

This past November, Alumni Board member, Ann Kutner Marron Clark '65, received an email from a family in Arizona asking for help in finding the owner of a HPHS Class of ‘64 man’s ring that had been mysteriously in their family’s possession for some time. The ring was engraved with the initials TGC.
After a quick trip to the HPHS Alumni Office, Ann pulled the 1964 Highlander and found a senior picture of Thomas Grady Chamblee. A check of the database revealed that Tom had kept all his info current with the office.
When Ann contacted Tom, he told her that he lost the ring on the beach in Galveston only three weeks after graduation. How the ring traveled from Texas to Arizona remains a mystery, but 57 years later it’s now in Florida with its rightful owner!
Way to go Ann for connecting Tom with his graduation ring!
And, a reminder to all, keep your contact information current with the HPHS Alumni Office. :)
