NOVEMBER 2023

Support the 2023 Holiday Toy Room

As the holiday season approaches, our hearts are filled with excitement and anticipation for the festivities. However, it's essential to remember that this time can be challenging for many families. Thousands of women in Calgary face difficulties providing holiday gifts for their children, often making tough choices between necessities and presents.

At the Women's Centre of Calgary, we are dedicated to supporting these families through our annual Toy Room Program. This initiative is a beacon of hope for these women, allowing them to select special holiday gifts for their children and themselves, ensuring a brighter and more joyful season.

We invite you to be a part of this heartwarming cause by supporting us as a sponsor, donor, or volunteer.

Ways to Get Involved:

Organize a Toy Drive: for more details on organizing a toy drive for the Women's Centre's Toy Room, please visit our website or email Linda or Cera.

Donate Toys: Purchase from Castle Toys to ship directly to the Centre. Use code WOMENSCENTRE2023 to receive 20% off online or in-store. You can also drop off new, unopened toys at the Centre (39 - 4 Street NE) or shop our Amazon wishlist.

Monetary Donations: Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact the number of families we can support. Donate directly to the Toy Room program online.

Volunteer: Join us in running the Toy Room Program, making a direct and personal difference.

For more information on how you can help or to express your interest, please reach out to Linda at linda@womenscentrecalgary.org, Cera at cera@womenscentrecalgary.org, or call us at (403) 264-1155. Please find our complete 2023 Toy Room Package here.

Your generosity and support will bring immeasurable joy to families during a time that is meant for celebration and togetherness. Together, let's make this holiday season a magical one for everyone.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in our community. Feel free to share this information with friends and colleagues who might also be interested in contributing to this heartwarming cause.
