JoAnne Colonnello - Center Director, Pharmaceuticals, Health and Chemicals (PHC); Centers of Excellence and Expertise (CEE)


She oversees all CBP Trade activities nationally as related to the import and export of pharmaceuticals, health, and chemical merchandise. Prior responsibility included serving as the Assistant Port Director for the Trade Operations Division in the Port of New York/Newark. Ms. Colonnello has held temporary positions as the Director for Cargo at the National Targeting Center and the Assistant Director Field Operations for Trade and Cargo Security in the New York Field Office.

Ania Hajdukiewicz - Global Head, Trade Compliance, Novartis BioMedical Research.


She leads a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations, driving efficiency and integrity across global operations. She has been instrumental in fostering strong relationships with government agencies and service providers. Ania has held pivotal roles at Biogen, CH Robinson, and Kuehne + Nagel. Her expertise in compliance management, process optimization, and team leadership 

Steve Johnsen - Vice President, International Trade Compliance, Bayer. and former chairman of the American Association of Exporters and Importers (AAEI),


Steve has built the business processes and systems for international trade compliance over two decades. He administers the policies and procedures, auditing and training programs and is responsible for administration of customs business activities and export controls across all Bayer businesses.

DSG Global helps companies understand complex international trade rules and build trade compliance programs. It is the recipient of the President's E-award for export service. Prior to founding DSG Global in 2014, Deep was at FedEx from 2002-2014 where he helped create FedEx’s regulatory consulting group and at KPMG Tax & Customs practice in Asia. Deep has assisted the US Government agencies (BIS, CBP, District Export Council) involved in imports as well as exports, as a subject matter expert. He is also a license customs broker.
