• FIRST EVER FCA Huddle at Laguna Beach HS happened this month and had a great turnout and gave out 10 Bibles! Praise God!!

• First Huddles of the year at Capo Valley HS and Aliso Niguel HS this month both consisted of powerful experiences! Capo Valley HS Huddle we gave out 15 Bibles and Aliso Niguel HS Huddle had some impactful post-huddle conversations!

FCA Club Advisor & Head Football Coach @ Laguna Hills High School

Here's what Coach Lester had to say about how FCA has impacted his life!

• As a coach, how has FCA impacted your time on and off the field?

"FCA has been a special club on the Laguna Hills campus for more than 2 decades. It has been an honor to serve as the moderator and leader of this group since we started it over 20 years ago. It has been my goal to bring the light of Jesus Christ to our campus and to share the Gospel to our students. Every year I tell our student leaders that we are fishermen, our job is to throw our nets and let Jesus bring in the students. Our goal has always been to plant seeds on our campus and let God take care of each student's spiritual growth. I have enjoyed watching the impact of FCA on our campus. I am also truly blessed to say that my first FCA student leader all those years ago is now a pastor at my church, Harbor Point Church, in San Juan Capistrano."

• Being involved with FCA, how has FCA molded your coaching style?

"My faith and spirituality has had a huge impact on FCA and my coaching career of over 35 years. As the Head Football Coach at Laguna Hills, I regularly share my faith with my players and I hope that my faith is evident in the way I lead our program. In challenging times on our campus, I have been able to use prayer to help lead our players through difficult times. I also appreciate joining our team in prayer before our games. Through our run to the State Championship in 2022, our Scripture verses were Philippians 4:13 and Isaiah 41:10. Every week we pray that our players play in a way that honors God. I also hope that my leadership and coaching honor my Lord and Savior every day."
