Tip of the Month

As beautiful as the above photograph is, students should always avoid walking in areas with no one else around.  Map out the route to school or the bus stop this year. Encourage children to use the "buddy" system and not to walk in vacant lots, alley ways or construction areas!

Fun Facts about

School Supplies

Crayola makes over 3 billion crayons each year!

Most teachers in this country do end up buying some school supplies with thier own money! See if you can donate!

Most professionals agree that a backpack should be about 10% of the child's body weight or less! Try to remove any unnecessary weight!

The Heritage University Treasurer Training Program was a complete success! Please see some of the comments below. If you were not able to attend, feel free to click the link below and view our complimentary program manual.

Here is what our students are saying:

  • "This class helped me to better understand how a management company can assist in improving our financial position, and what the board can do to help themselves."
  • "The information was current and very relevant."
  • "I feel prepared to handle my community's needs in a more appropriate manner."

Cable Access Agreements
OVER $700,000 in NEW OFFERS!

The offers are in and we are rolling out another $700,000 in right-of-entry agreements. Your manager will let you know within the next 30 days if you are one of the lucky communities! As most of you know, Heritage has negotiated well over 1.5 million dollars from Comcast, AT&T, and Charter for the communities we manage and  there has been an overwhelming positive response from the boards who have confirmed offers and agreements.

For those who may not be familiar with this initiative, every condominium, townhouse, and gated single family home community should be compensated by the cable provider. This is because the company's wiring has been installed on community owned property and the neighborhood has the right to be paid for that access. Heritage has been working with a broker and bulk negotiating these agreements to maximize the initial lump sum payments.

Keep in mind that acceptance of these offers does NOT mean that you are limiting access to providers. Your homeowners may continue to select any company they wish for their service! The agreement simply gives marketing priority to the provider of choice in items such as the neighborhood newsletter or welcome packages .
