A Faith That Is Pure and Authentic

Come To The Table Worship Series

We warmly invite you to be a part of our new Worship Series starting Sunday, September 8. This series, “Come to the Table,” is a beautiful opportunity to gather around the table of grace, where we’ll share in meaningful connections, extend invitations to others, and embrace the peace of Christ together.

Worship begins at 9:15 a.m., with the Traditional Service in the Sanctuary and the Anchor Modern Worship in the Ministry Center. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing this special time with you.

Flower Guild

Allowing God to use our eyes, hearts, and hands, we deepen our bond through flower arranging as a form of prayer.

Have you ever wondered who designs altar arrangements? It's the work of the Flower Guild and we'd love to show you how it's done. It's part prayer, part design, and part physical, which is why it helps to engage a partner. We've invited girlfriends to assist, and husband and wife teams say that it's like praying together - it's wonderful! Everyone enjoys being part of the process, and we can see that glow of pride in glorifying God by bringing beauty to worship.

Several guild members would happily demonstrate the process. It can be a real adventure to go to the wholesale florist, prepare the flowers, set up the container, and then assemble an arrangement. For people who enjoy learning new skills, or simply learning to appreciate how things are done, we invite you to take the first step and partner with a designer.

Christianity’s Family Tree

Offered on Wednesdays at 10:00 am or 6:00 pm

Beginning Sept. 4th

Adam Hamilton presents a welcoming, inspiring vision of eight Christian denominations and faith traditions. Comparing the Christian family to our own extended families, he contends that each denomination has a unique, valuable perspective to offer on the Christian faith. The traditions included in this eight-week video-and-print study are Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, Anglicanism, Baptists, Pentecostalism, and Methodism. For each group, Hamilton gives a brief history, outlines major beliefs, and describes some things we can learn from that tradition to strengthen our own Christian faith.

Facilitated by Steven Grantham. The book cost is $12.00.
