Welcome Back!

The Staff-Parish Relations Committee is pleased to announce that Rev. Stephen Grantham, Rev. Meg Procopio, and Rev. Jared Wilson will be continuing their service at Isle of Hope UMC for the upcoming year! Please join us in thanking them for their faithful commitment to IOHUMC. Our congregation is certainly blessed by their gifts!

IOHUMC, You Did Great!

Thank you for your generous responses to fill welcoming gift baskets for Brooke and Peyton as they start their summer with us! You ensured they won’t starve or fall asleep, or run out of fuel for their cars or their bodies! Thanks to you, they won’t miss a moment to love on our students or lead us in worship!

Sanctuary Window Replacement Update

When given the opportunity to be part of important work for current and future IOHUMC generations, God’s people at IOHUMC are certainly moved to respond! We already have 6 of the 10 new windows covered through your generosity.

Perhaps your Sunday School class, circle, or small group would like to “Sponsor a Window,” or you may simply want to contribute an amount of your choosing to be part of history. For questions, please contact Marla Grady.

It's Finally Here!

Let's Go to the Movies is THIS Week!

Sunday, June 9th, 5:00pm

Invite your friends and neighbors and plan to attend this very special concert to benefit the Capital Campaign for Wesley Community Centers Childcare building. Tickets are $10 in the church office, at the door, or by clicking HERE. Movie concessions will be available with cash payment or Venmo. We hope to see you there!

Student Ministry

Tifton First UMC called to say they have quite a large number of students & churches attending this year's River of Life, and it is imperative that they have our final numbers in by June 10th.

ROL has always been a favorite event and is only open to students who have completed 6th - 12th grade. Your $200 covers meals, housing, supplies, and programming with Shama Mrema, Christian Comedian & TikTok Influencer! Students will definitely love hearing his testimony and jokes.

Each day there will be a boxed lunch from Chick-Fil-A delivered to the worksite. As soon as you register your student, please make sure to email me their selection (choose only 1) so I can make sure that it's ordered. The options are below and all include chips and a chocolate chip cookie:

  • Chicken Sandwich
  • Chicken Nuggets
  • Chicken Wrap
  • Grilled Chicken Nuggets (gluten free option)

Wednesday Night Prayer Time

During worship on Sunday mornings, as part of the “prayers of the people," individuals are lifted up by name. If you would like prayer during our Wednesday Prayer Meetings for yourself, loved ones, and/or others, complete the Prayer Request card in your pew and place it in the offering plate or leave it in the church office. If you so desire, you may include the specific need(s) of the individual(s) named on the card. You need not include your name as the requester.

Although we begin at 6:00 pm, you may join us on Wednesday evenings in silent and/or spoken prayer as your time permits. If you do not have a key tile for entrance to the church, call Gary Thompson at 856-981-8117 or Joy Thompson at 856-889-6294 and someone will open the door.

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18
