Gregory Contracting

Congratulations on your new location!

Gregory’s Contracting constructed a new building just south of Wyoming and moved in January 2024. This new building is 8,108 square feet which contains a larger showroom and office space to meet with more clients. They were moved from Chisago City due to outgrowing their facility and having no room to expand. Wyoming has become a wonderful community for Gregory’s, and they can’t wait to grow in this new community.

Settled in the town of Wyoming, you will find local fourth generation family-owned Gregory’s Contracting. The Chisago County HRA-EDA is a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) satellite office. We provide free and confidential consulting services to businesses and those thinking of going into business.

That's right - Chisago County HRA-EDA was selected with five other communities in the State to be considered for the "City/County of the Year"! Watch our website or our May newsletter for the final results.

The HRA-EDA is a sponsor of the MN Real Estate Journal as they are one of the largest Broker networking organizations in Minnesota.

Attending several events every year, the HRA-EDA is able to boast about Chisago County and all it has to offer to businesses large and small.

At the 2024 RE Journal Land Conference, the HRA-EDA's Executive Director, Nancy Hoffman, sat on a panel with her peers and discussed the “being -ready” concept and what opportunities Chisago County can offer those looking to expand to the north metro.

As the lead organization, Chisago County HRA-EDA identified partners then underwent strategic planning and ultimately developed the Chisago County Child Care Coalition. This group is made up of a diverse group of people interested in solving the issues around the child care crisis. The HRA-EDA continues to convene this coalition to brainstorm and work through barriers of the child care industry. Collaboratively, they hold specific experiences relating to operation, planning, financing, advocacy and delivery of child care services.

In March, volunteers of the coalition attended the Chisago Lakes Showcase to raise awareness of the child care shortage and spread the word about opportunities in this field of work.

City of Taylors Falls

Taylors Falls is located on the beautiful St. Croix River, approximately 1-hour northeast of the Twin Cities.

This small, historic village nestled amongst the hills of the St. Croix River boasts its small-town pride, but are also huge in heart. The city owns a downtown commercial site ready for development.
