Besides the water slides in the warm months, Wild Mountain has an outdoor Formula “K” Go-Kart racing and alpine slides for those that have a "need for speed." For the real thrill seekers Wild Mountain hosts a freefall tower - You can leap from either 18 feet or a whopping 27 feet!

Lets talk about those colder months... Wild Mountain is known for their beautiful ski and snowboard slopes. Ribbon cutting for two new trails!

On June 7th, the Chisago County HRA-EDA staff joined others in the county to welcome two new additions in the Chisago County Parks and Trails.

The day began in Lindstrom at the new Mountain Bike Trail at the Ki-Chi-Saga County Park where bikers can enjoy biking on a whole new terrain!(photo above)

In the afternoon we bumped over to the City of Harris to attend the ribbon cutting for the newest addition on the Sunrise Prairie Regional Trail which is a connecting segment from North Branch to Harris.(photo below)

This was a fun, beautiful day to celebrate with the Chisago County Parks department. Many attendees at these two events brought bikes and walking shoes to test out these new additions to our recreational areas. We hope you visit these trails and enjoy some fresh air and outdoor fun!
