District 6400 – Building The Rotary Foundation’s Future

More than one hundred years ago, Rotarians took bold action to ensure the success and empowerment of generations of Rotarians still to come — they established The Rotary Foundation to secure a better future. The Rotary Foundation created the Endowment in 1982 to give future generations of Rotarians the additional resources they need to design and implement sustainable projects year after year. While a gift to the Annual Fund helps people live better lives today, gifts to Rotary’s Endowment support the same life-changing programs forever.

District Governor Nick Krayacich and Rotary Foundation Trustee Jennifer encourage District 6400 Rotarians in helping to build the future of our Foundation and asking you to consider a gift that will help to create lasting change in our world.

Today, we work to achieve the ambitious goal of OUR Rotary Foundation’s endowment reaching 2.025 billion by June 30, 2025. In doing so, we will extend our impact far into the future, ensuring Rotarians can continue to promote peace, fight disease, save mothers and children, provide clean water, support education, grow local economies and protect the environment. The generosity of D6400 Rotarians can bring us to our goal.

We are currently seeking dedicated donors to make a new $10,000 bequest commitment – or – increase their bequest by $10,000 or more to The Rotary Found

ation to reach a comprehensive $1 Million goal (Polio Plus, Annual Fund and Endowment gifts). While this effort highlights the impact of giving to the endowment, any gift designation will count toward our goal. Please take a look at this inspiring Video. Your legacy is Rotary’s promise.

We personally invite you to consider being one of these donors by making a transformative gift to The Rotary Foundation so we can celebrate you and ALL generous donors to TRF at our Legacy Dinner on November 21, 2024.

By joining this special group of donors, your gift will help build a permanent source of support for Rotary’s programs and projects, allowing current and future Rotarians to address the most pressing needs of their time. You can also create a Named Endowed Fund with a gift or commitment of $25,000 or more, which allows you to direct your support to a specific area of focus or program of your choice. For example, a $25,000 gift can generate $1,000 in annual earnings that will continue the level of support that has been important to you during your lifetime, forever.

We have prepared two codicils for you to use, in consultation with your own legal counsel. CLICK HERE to take you to our LEGACY EVENT page and links to those codicils.
