Since 1973 McMiller has been a hidden gem of southeast Wisconsin, giving the general public a safe spot to enjoy weather you're a shooter, hiker, skier or even horseback rider. Our favorite place on earth is about to go through a major transformation all thanks to the efforts by the WDNR, McMiller, Wern Valley Sportsmen's Club and the great sportsmen of Wisconsin.

In conjunction with the WDNR to acquire grant money through the Pitman Robertson fund McMiller will undergo a massive upgrade starting this WINTER. Below is the first phase of allot of new construction to our facility.

NEW REATIVE TARGETS

Plinking Range Update

We have partnered with Atlas Target Works and Gunfighter to offer a new reactive targets experience on our plinking range. You can now enjoy these new targets with more on the way.

Kids Archery Session

Kids Archery Day is designed to improve shooting skills, learn different techniques and have a ton of fun.

SPORTING CLAYS - NEWS

Major improvements to our course are underway and some you may have noticed already.

Gravel was added in the spring to update parts of the roads and shooting platform along with partnering with a company for additional brush / tree removal.

Pergolas were added to each station help shade and get shooters out of the elements.

New shooting benches, stands and platforms are currently being made and have replace the old furniture.

Landscaping along with adding cement platforms for our new pergolas will be an ongoing update throughout this winter into next spring.

Our new Sporting Clays manager, Tim Hannon has been working hard on making new target presentations along with starting up our leagues again. If you missed out on the Spring League, there is still allot of time to register for our next Spring / Summer Sporting Clays League.

Were excited to announce more updates to the ranges will be coming late 2023 into Summer 2024. Below are some highlights to a very intensive list of updates.

Learn to Shoot

This spring we will offer multiple classes for Hunter Education. What's unique about these weekends is we will offer an additional opportunity to learn Trap Shooting, .22 Long Rifle Plinking and 3D Archery with Ammo, Rentals and Lunch.
