Discipleship Journal for 2024 is here!

Pick one up at the back of the church or in the church office!

What is a Discipleship Journal?

This discipleship journal is designed to help you establish a rhythm of daily living that is focused on God's Word and consistent with Zion DL's vision of "Discipleship is Life." The journal will (generally) follow along with our sermon series, weekly reading plan, and Discipleship Hour topics.

What a beautiful afternoon we had at Zion

on Thursday, Feb 15th!

Thursday, February 15th the Zion ladies hosted a prayer/worship service on the gifts God gives of Grace, Mercy, Peace. The songs, prayers and devotional thoughts were focused on those 3 Gifts of God. Special prayer requests were given for comfort/healing and for our troubled world. Our Zion ladies afterwards served us yummy treats while we fellowshipped with ladies and men and also our friends from our sister Congregation from Bethlehem in Frazee. We left having been uplifted with God's Peace, Grace and Mercy.

Copies are available in the church office if you would like to have one. Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 10AM in the Fellowship Hall at Zion Lutheran Church.

About The Screwtape Letters:

Written in defense of Christian faith, this popular satire consists of a series of 31 letters in which Screwtape, an experienced devil, instructs his young charge, Wormwood, on effective strategies for tempting the human being assigned to him and making sure he continues on a steady path toward damnation.
