What is a Discipleship Journal?

This discipleship journal is designed to help you establish a rhythm of daily living that is focused on God's Word and consistent with Zion DL's vision of "Discipleship is Life." The journal will (generally) follow along with our sermon series, weekly reading plan, and Discipleship Hour topics.

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP SERVICE

Celebrating the magic of Christmas through the eyes of our little angels at Zion DL! The Children's Worship Service was a classic telling of the story of Jesus' birth.

Their innocent voices echoed with joy, narrating the tale of the miraculous night in Bethlehem. The stage was filled with love and laughter as our young ones beautifully brought to life the message of hope and salvation.

Witnessing their enthusiasm, passion, and dedication was truly heartwarming. Let's cherish these precious moments and be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas—love, joy, and the gift of salvation through the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

A huge shoutout to all the kids, parents, and everyone who contributed to making this Children's Worship Service a spectacular event! May the spirit of Christmas continue to fill our hearts with warmth and gratitude.

WEDNESDAY MORNING

BIBLE STUDY

The Wednesday morning Bible Study group will be focusing on Temptation beginning after Thanksgiving. It will be centered around the fiction book "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis.

Copies are available in the church office if you would like to have one. Bible Study meets every Wednesday at 10AM in the Fellowship Hall at Zion Lutheran Church.

About The Screwtape Letters:

Written in defense of Christian faith, this popular satire consists of a series of 31 letters in which Screwtape, an experienced devil, instructs his young charge, Wormwood, on effective strategies for tempting the human being assigned to him and making sure he continues on a steady path toward damnation.
