Celebrating 100 years of Wesleyan leadership!

Dear Jodi,

In 1922 our organization’s founder, Bettie Tyler, entrusted the leadership of the beloved ministry to which she had dedicated 22 years of her life, to the Wesleyans.

Today, a full century later, we celebrate that Hephzibah Ministries remains a subsidiary of The Wesleyan Church (TWC). In this newest season the Hephzibah62:4 board and staff has recommitted to full alignment with TWC and our denomination’s leadership.

Why does this matter?

In this present moment of rapid cultural shifts, endless negative news cycles, confusion and division, being part of a close-knit community built on the ultimate Truth, Love and Hope is vital to keeping our focus on the only One who can make sense of it all—Jesus Christ.

For such a time as this:

  • Our Hephzibah62:4 staff functions as an integral part of the Church Multiplication and Discipleship team at TWC headquarters.
  • Our board of directors is comprised of respected Wesleyan denominational and local church leaders and ministry practitioners, both lay and clergy.
  • Our efforts are undergirded by the wisdom and expertise of a wide variety of TWC headquarters staff members, General Board members and District Superintendents.
  • Our organizational decisions are made, and policies created, with TWC’s vision, beliefs, core values and positions in mind.

It is from this perspective that we collaborate and align our work to equip and mobilize local Wesleyan churches to transform the lives of vulnerable children amid some of the greatest cultural challenges and opportunities of our lifetime.

NEW Partnership Policy

Rapid changes in our culture can leave us reeling for practical guidance on how to balance biblical truth in love, particularly when we are called to personally love, interact, and work alongside those

with whom we disagree.

NEW Family Support Grant

Families impacted by special needs, kinship care, guardianship, foster care and adoption often face unique challenges that take their toll on the entire family. We're removing financial barriers to help struggling Wesleyan parents attend events that provide renewal and hope.
