Just up the road from Epiphany, Centerpointe Church is in the middle of doing what we were doing in 2017-18; building-out a facility. As was true for us back then, they have found the remodeling process to move more slowly than they hoped.
That has left Centerpointe Church without a place to gather for worship this summer. Grateful for all the ways God blessed us and gave us our current space, Epiphany is stepping into the gap to provide a worship location for Centerpointe at least for the next several months.
With the approval of the vestry and our landlord, our wardens Jon Crane and Don Holt are working out final details of the agreement now. Centerpointe Church will be worshipping at Epiphany on Sunday afternoons between 3 and 5:30pm. They are paying a small honorarium to make sure we can cover the expenses related to their use of our building. We will always have someone from Epiphany here when Centerpointe is using our facility.
While having another church worship at Epiphany does come with some challenges, I am very glad we can be part of Centerpointe Church’s journey to their new home. It is exciting for me to see us at Epiphany have a chance to connect with a neighboring Christian congregation. I am hopeful that we will have chances to work together with Centerpointe in other ways in the name of Jesus Christ.
God Bless,
