To our LifeNets Supporters and Friends!

The horrific barbaric invasion of Ukraine by Russia has killed thousands of people, including many children. We are sorrowfully appalled by these unthinkable and uncivilized actions. Along with many others, we are stepping up to help Ukrainians as our primary duty right now.

Since the invasion on February 24, LifeNets has mobilized resources to provide transportation, temporary shelter, and food for refugees. In Ukraine, we have long-time relationships spanning 40 years with medical doctors, church leaders, and family. We are collaborating with them now to get help to the neediest. It may be temporary housing in Ukraine, and transport to the border for refugees. It may be food. We have much to do, but we are successfully getting aid to some who are in need. We are thankful that we have many willing helpers to get this done.

Help is greatly needed for the millions of refugees pouring out of the country. They are mostly women and children. Men under age 60 are not allowed to leave; they are expected to defend their country. These people's lives have been completely turned upside down. They don't want to leave home. They want to go home and hope that the war ends soon. But, for now, they must live through the uncertain and unfamiliar circumstances they find themselves in.

We thank everyone who has generously supported us. We are working primarily to help people still in Ukraine through locations in the country that are still relatively safe. You can help us by going to our special web page by clicking or tapping here.

Conditions change daily and you can keep up with the latest news through our Website or go directly to our war blog at https://lifenets.org/category/ukraine-war/

Again, thank you for your support.

With love and appreciation to all of you,

Charity Fundraiser Raises $10,000 for Bus
On March 20 Ambassador Bible College students outdid themselves with humor and creativity for the first in-person ABC Fun Charity Auction since COVID-19 restrictions were imposed. The event was also streamed live. The event raised an amazing $10,000 to purchase a church bus for the United Church of God congregation in Mufulira, Zambia.
The old bus pictured above needs to be replaced. The "new" used bus will cost $15,000. Selling the old one should provide the additional funds needed to buy the upgraded bus. Thanks to all who participated. To see a complete story about this event go to https://www.ucg.org/members/news/personal-from-the-president-march-24-2022

Below is the promotional video for the event.
Visits with Scholarship Students in the Philippines

Our Developing Nations Scholarship Program is the largest single activity of LifeNets. We are always glad to get feedback. This past week two of our pastors Nick Lamoureaux and David Dobson were visiting the Philippines and give this brief report:
"David Dobson and I traveled to see some brethren in Quinapondan, Eastern Samar in the Philippines today. While there, we had the chance to meet two LifeNets scholars: Donna and Dennis. Dennis is studying to become a librarian. They both seem grateful for the scholarships, and Dennis is very passionate about becoming a librarian! "
