Building Advantage: Helping Our Partners Compete for Work

Building Advantage's mission is to increase market share for Union Construction in Southeast Wisconsin and provide an ongoing forum for labor and management to advance their mutual goals and objectives in competing for work.

With the help of our executive board and industry partners, Building Advantage works to secure financing for developers, ensure that union labor is working in our region and promotes the union construction industry through marketing and workforce efforts.

Since Chris Mambu Rasch joined the organization last year, he's formed relationships with over 25 development firms and works diligently to position the Union Construction industry as the first and only choice for quality, on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Building Advantage Supports Milwaukee Sales Tax Increase

Building Advantage supports the two percent increase in local sales tax revenue for the City of Milwaukee. This investment will help ensure that the construction projects, which continue to increase in the City of Milwaukee, continue without developer and investor concerns about the City's solvency. Current construction projects are employing thousands of union construction workers, which are having a tremendous positive impact on our community. We need to keep this momentum going by shoring up the city’s finances.
