Call for Candidates: YANA Part-Time Executive Director

YANA (Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance) is a dynamic community of Yale alums dedicated to advancing positive social change. There are now more than 180,000 Yale alums globally and we estimate that 2 out of 3 are involved in mission-driven work, whether nonprofit leaders, board members, volunteers, donors, or conscious capitalists. YANA’s mission is to organize and leverage this powerful community of change makers for the greater good. 


YANA is at a critical moment in our organizational journey. Since our founding in 2011, we have grown our membership base to more than 8,000 and have supported lives of impact in countless ways through introductions, internships, fellowships, and providing access to funding and best practices. However, we have also reached the limits of a volunteer staff and are now ready to engage the services of a nonprofit professional to lead YANA.


Toward this end, YANA is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic leader to serve as our Executive Director, focusing on fundraising and operations. This is a part-time role with the potential to evolve into a full-time position. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will have overall responsibility for the execution of YANA’s mission, with the assistance of a paid part-time communications director.
