This Giving Tuesday, please remember orchid conservation!

2023 has been another busy year for The North American Orchid Conservation Center (NAOCC), with new projects, new collaborators, and the imminent retirement of our Founding Director, Dennis Whigham. We will soon send out a newsletter to tell you more!

But first - a quick reminder that while we are all thankful to live on a planet with such amazing orchid biodiversity, it's up to us to keep it that way. More than half of North American native orchids are threatened or endangered in some part of their range, and we must all persevere in our commitment to orchid conservation. NAOCC needs your help this giving season, so if you are able and so inspired, please donate to help us continue to build strong alliances and engage with a growing network of collaborators to preserve the diverse orchid heritage of the U.S. and Canada.

Thank You!

Donors of $250 or more will receive a boxed set of "Origami Orchids" - 20 orchid-gami paper models & full-color booklet about the orchid species!

We realize you receive many requests from valuable causes - yet we know you are dedicated to orchid conservation and truly understand the relevance and urgency of NAOCC’s work.

Thank you for considering our request, and for joining with NAOCC to conserve the native orchids of North America.

Best wishes for a joyous holiday season!
