Raising Awareness for Domestic Violence through Action

Media Outreach
We will be reaching out through all media outlets this month in order to spread the word as best as possible. Some of the ways we are outreaching are:

Local Newspapers - We will be doing a 5-week newspaper series on the dynamics of domestic violence. These articles will be:
  1. The Truth about Domestic Violence
  2. Texas Laws Making a Difference in the Lives of Those Affected by Domestic Violence
  3. False Promises for a Vulnerable Population
  4. Building a Brighter Future
  5. 5 Ways You can End Relationship Violence In Your Community
Social Media - We will be spotlighting issues related to domestic violence every day during October on Facebook , Instagram , and Twitter . We will also have a discussion forum in the comments section.
A Place for Healing, a Heart of Gratitude

We would like to send a special thanks to all of our donors, supporters, and community partners. Without you, we would not be able to provide the services we work so hard to provide to Hays and Caldwell counties.

Most of all, we would like to thank the women, men, and children we serve for having the bravery and strength to reach out for help.

At HCWC, our mission is to help create a community where violence and abuse are not tolerated. With your help, we WILL see that our mission is accomplished.
Join the Family!
