MAKING A DIFFERENCE
In celebration of   ArkansasGives  on April 7th  Fat Dawgz BBQ & Something Sweet  in Clarksville will host a special fundraising event, " Fire Safety has Gone to the Dawgz ," supporting the work of  Molly the Fire Safety Dog  and the  Keep Kids Fire Safe ™ Foundation .

A portion of the sales from dining-in and carry-out sales that day will benefit KKFSF and the new Safety Center.
MOLLY NEEDS YOUR VOTE
Molly the Fire Safety Dog, mascot for Johnson County RFD #1 and the Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation , is competing for the honor of being named 20 16's American Hero Dog, the highest honor a dog can receive. 

The voting for the first round ends April 27th  and with your help, Molly has a chance at making the top three in the Emerging Hero Category and advancing to the next round. You can vote one time daily. It won't be easy, however, as there are 62 amazing dogs in this category.

Vote daily , share with your friends and help Molly spread the work she does in helping keep children and their families safe through the Keep Kids Fire Safe™ Foundation. If you are a hard core voter, you are welcome to join Molly's new Facebook voting page This page will have more in-depth information and resource materials for voting.  You can also vote using the Molly the Fire Safety Dog app on your smartphone or tablet . The non-profit that receives the most donations that day will receive bonus dollars, dollars which could help KKFSF and Molly reach more children in Johnson County with the fire safety message. 

Proceeds from the Arkansas Gives events will support KKFSF's Safety Center, located at 19 Sherwood Plaza in Clarksville, as well as the Foundation's fire safety programming and activities.  Join Molly the Fire Safety Dogs'  Facebook page  and learn more about the work of the  Keep Kids Fire Safe Foundation .

Be sure to visit the Foundation's booth at the Johnson County Community Foundation's watch party at the First Security Bank Community Center at 214 West Main Street in Clarksville from 8 am to 8 pm.  

The Foundation will be live-streaming off and on all day HERE from the event as well as from the ArkansasGives Watch Party from Little Rock that evening.
