Monday News and Updates

February 26, 2024

Good Monday Afternoon!

I hope you're enjoying the fantastic weather! Kansas is a great place to be. The seasons are just the right length, and when you start to feel tired of the heat or cold, a change is just around the corner.

What an amazing lineup of speakers at Adventures in Learning in February! We again extend our heartfelt thanks to the speakers who joined us last week and Topeka Presbyterian Manor for generously providing our refreshments. To explore more about Topeka Presbyterian Manor, click on the logo above to visit their website or contact Christie Patrick at 785-256-0946 for further information.

Thank you to Dave Mathias for taking pictures last Friday for our directory! Haven't paid your membership dues yet? Don't worry, there's still time to submit them before we finalize the directory! Simply click the link below to pay online or send your check to SCT at 4101 SW 15th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.

New Activity Group - Interest Survey

Widowed Support Group - Looking Forward to Moving Forward after Losing a Spouse.

This Social Group will provide participants with support, social interaction, and the opportunity to share experiences. Participants are encouraged to listen, discuss thoughts, share life events, and move their lives forward. So that you know, this is not a counseling group. Jerel Wright will be one of the coordinators for this group.

The group would meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:30 - 5:00 pm. I am currently looking for a meeting location for this group. Please email or call me if you are interested in joining this group.

We want to encourage you to access our online directory on your phone for easy access to member's information. And, please feel free to upload your photo to the directory. If you need any help, please reach out to Phyllis Herzog whose contact information is below.

Have a blessed week!
