A Gentle Reminder About Copyright Infringement and the Internet
All materials created by PATH Intl. including things such as the PATH Intl. Standards for Certification and Accreditation, PATH Intl. Strides Magazine, the PATH Intl. Instructor Education Guide, the website, etc., are all protected property and copyrighted. This means content from any of these examples and others may not be shared or reproduced without permission in print and on digital platforms. This includes uploading content online and is covered by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and specifically Section 512(c)(3). The DMCA is a 1998 United States copyright law that implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization. It criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services intended to circumvent measures that control access to copyrighted works, commonly known as digital rights management. It also criminalizes the act of circumventing an access control, whether or not there is actual infringement of copyright itself. In addition, the DMCA heightens the penalties for copyright infringement on the Internet.

Helmet Accessibility Discussion - Friday, April 26th 7:00PM ET
You might recall taking part in a PATH Intl. survey about proper-fitting helmet accessibility for individuals who are hard to fit for medical and protective hairstyle reasons. You might even have joined a town hall discussion where the data from the survey was presented to helmet manufacturers and other attendees. Since that town hall, there have been several follow-up conversations and emails. We're excited to share the next community conversation/townhall will be on Friday, April 26, at 7:00pm ET.
The townhall will be facilitated by Shelly Watts. PATH Intl. Board of Trustees Member and DEI Committee Chair Aviva Vincent will share a high-level overview of what has happened to date, PATH Intl. CEO Kathy Alm will join the panel, and Danielle Santos from Charles Owen will tell us her thoughts since hearing the survey data and her hopes and aims for the near future. Please consider joining the townhall to share your thoughts and questions.
Registration is required. Click here to register.
