PATH Intl. Volunteer Recruitment Toolkit Request for Materials | |

As a strategic plan priority created directly from listening to members and centers, PATH Intl. is developing a volunteer recruitment and retention toolkit this spring for center members, and we need your help. To help us craft an efficient and useful toolkit we are looking for samples of the following resources from any members or centers willing to share:
- Volunteer job descriptions for: sidewalker, horse leader/longliner, able-bodied whip, header-driving, expediter/lesson assistant, barn assistant, and any additional roles you may have like special events, social media/office/virtual roles
- Volunteer recruitment flyers
- Social media recruitment graphics or links to posts for sample language
We will also be grateful for samples of any other recruitment tools or recruitment campaign schedules anyone is willing to share. Please send resources to Sara Conant, sconant@pathintl.org.

Attend a PATH Intl. Region Conference this Year | |

PATH Intl. Region Conferences provide continuing education, fresh ideas, innovative thinking, networking and PATH Intl. updates to instructors, students, center employees, administrators, volunteers and others interested in equine-assisted services (EAS), at locations across the United States. Since there is no PATH International Conference this year (save the date: November 6-9, 2025, Denver, CO) there’s no time like the present to think about region conference possibilities this year! Did you know that you can attend any region conference, not just the one in your region, or that you can present at any region conference if you're interested? Perhaps you have family, friends or colleagues that live in different states that you could visit while attending or presenting at region conferences other than your own. 2024 PATH Intl. James Brady Professional Achievement Award Nominations Open Through May 27th | |

The PATH Intl. James Brady Professional Achievement Award is given to a person who has made a significant contribution to the equine-assisted services(EAS) industry. Winners of this award are recognized for demonstrating the highest ethical behavior in their personal and professional life; for possessing proven leadership and dedication through delivery of service, educational contribution, support, and promotion of the industry; for bringing innovative ideas to fruition; for creating collaborations and partnerships to advance the work of EAS; and for enhancing the success and knowledge of others in the association. Full criteria for the award may be found here.
The nomination form can be found here and the reference forms are here. Completed James Brady Professional Achievement Award nominations and reference forms may be submitted to awards@pathintl.org by May 27, 2024. A PATH Intl. staff member will be in touch with the nominator throughout the process of judging.
