Judith Works, EPIC Board member and past president, read her short story "Life Cycle" to an audience of members belonging to Creative Colloquy, a literary group headquartered in Tacoma. Life Cycle is one of five short works placed in 100 bottles around the city for the pleasure of locals to discover a story to enjoy during during the winter months.

If you're in the area, keep an eye out on the beach, in the park, or near an art work to join in the fun.

In addition to her in-person book signing at Third Place Books on Jan. 11, Erica Miner has been busy guest blogging for numerous writing sites.
