Come for casual conversation, light lunch, laughter, and library time with ISD friends and members, and the Pastor, Diana Friedell. We will be POOLSIDE in the good weather, bring your suit if you’d like, and a dish to pass if possible. Join a collaborative, co-creative effort to make amends for past wrongs, to give thanks and to connect with other high powers and intentions doing the same.
Calling kayakers who resonate with earth-keeping and who love spiritual/healing work to join us for a special opportunity on Goodyear lake, to enter a prayerful space and to do something to make a difference!
Come play, bring your kayak/canoe or rent one!
Rain or shine event time is Sept 18, 10am-12pm at Sillmans Cove on back side of Goodyear lake. We will gather briefly there on land and paddle to the center of the lake for the ceremony.
Advance registration is required, cut off for registration is Sept 12th. This is a free event.

Part I is presented by JoAnn Wormuth. From medicine man to priest-healers, she will introduce us to colorful spiritual healers, healing cults & their methods & beliefs about healing, through pre-historic times to ancient Greece.
In Part II, Diana Friedell reviews research that proves the existence of the energy body & the efficacy of energy healing and which hospitals offer it as a treatment modality.

The lamps are different, but the Light is the same.
So many garish lamps in the dying brain’s lamp-show,
forget about them.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST (Sept 9-16)
We have come through a time of much personal examination. This has probably shifted your perception of core beliefs, relationships, cultural paradigms, and hopefully your self love and respect.
This month begins with 5 outer planets in retrograde. These outer planets are connected to some of our unconscious, more deeply hidden beliefs and challenges. They also have influence over all Zodiac Natives (signs) during any transits, or aspects. This is because of the long duration of their orbits around the Sun. That means they give us all a chance to utilize the influence, whether helpful or challenging.
When ALL of the outer planets are Retrograde this is an opportunity to pause. Reexamine, reconsider, reorder, reconstruct, etc. Since the past season has offered us all personally, as well as our mass collective, a chance to transform our shadow aspects, it stands to reason that there might also include a Heavenly Pause in that endeavor. That is the invitation this week.
Take time for some of your findings about yourself and your beliefs to settle. Breathe, meditate, allow time for your brain and heart to link up. When this happens your Cranial Heart and your Thoracic Brain work in harmony and assist you with the best your Higher Soul has to offer moving forward.
There are two inner, or personal, planets changing signs this week. Venus moves into Scorpio and Mars transits into Libra on the 9th and 14th respectively. It is perhaps appropriate to allow a pause for each of them to assimilate the energies of the new sign for a few days - another consideration for the pause.
Venus in Scorpio will add boldness and transformation to the characteristics associated with the Feminine in each of us. At the same time, Mars passing into Libra influences the characteristics associated with the Male in each of us to be more adaptable, collaborative, with fair and logical thinking.
I think you may be able to see how this particular combination at the beginning of our collective Harvest Season has great possibility for helping everyone move forward in some transformative, hopeful ways. The best results may be achieved by taking up the invitation of the Heavenly Pause this week. Divine Timing is a GREAT thing ..

Just a reminder that we are continuing our Prayer Warriors group, every day at 5pm we pause to pray and send our healing energies where they are most needed right now
Each day at 5 PM EST, we will pause for about 10 minutes and meditate and pray with the intention of sending healing energy to all.
You do not have to be present each day. Requests for healing or suggestions should be submitted to our Healing Program director, Jo Ann Wormuth at the below ISD website link:
