Accurate from AnywH3re

No rod has ever silenced all the variables. No engineer has ever found a way to transfer back-cast energy directly into forward accuracy. No angler has ever erased all the doubt from his or her mind. First time for everything.

No cast ever thrown is identical to any other cast ever thrown. The variables of caster, rod, and conditions are too great. Orvis Helios 3F and 3D rods were designed to significantly reduce the variables at the point of release, focusing the energy of the cast to the intended target. No matter what happens behind you the energy of the forward cast is crisply released through a tight window created by the most significant reduction in horizontal and vertical tip vibration ever conceived. The H3 is a rifle in a world of muskets and it autocorrects the variables of the cast to the target with incomparable precision.

The new Orvis H3 is the most accurate fly rod I've ever cast, by some margin. It's so accurate, in fact, that it took me 10 minutes to get the right feel for it--I was accustomed to over-correcting a bit while casting with my other fly rods. I used a 4-weight on the big trout water of the Delaware system. It covered the water brilliantly, even in a fairly stiff wind. And though that 4-weight is very light in hand, it has the necessary backbone to quickly and efficiently fight and land big wild trout .

There is always a silent prayer that I used to say just as the angler released the fly line in hopes that the fly would land where it was intended. There had always been a measure of unpredictability between where the line was aimed and where it actually went.  Kind of a knuckle ball effect.  Now that we are using the new H3 I don't need to pray anymore.  The fly goes where it is supposed to!  Now, we are picking apart the strike zone with fastballs, building confidence as an angler and guide team and catching more fish.
