We hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and were able to get some much-deserved time off. While this summer may not have been our typical in terms of sunshine or frequency of rain, it was summer just the same. Now as we transition back into the fall routines, NBANH is excited for all that this fall will have to offer.
We are extremely excited to resume the work of supporting the new Long Term Care Act. Having the voice of the sector is very important to ensure that the new Act will accurately reflect our work and our passion for quality improvement in our homes. That includes every person and from every corner of the province. It is very important that everyone has their say in terms of the legislation that will govern our sector and our care offerings. This is very exciting work.
We are also excited to look forward to opportunities for new initiatives for the sector to participate in. These initiatives always bring great learning and supports to help achieve our collective goals and objectives. There will be more to come on this topic, please stay tuned.
We at NBANH are “gearing -up” for the busy fall season and we look forward to working with all homes on these and other opportunities. time, we wish you all a safe and happy next several months.
