We’re really glad that in the Fiscal Year 2025 budget, we were able to include about $4 million specifically dedicated to wage improvements. That affected about 70% of our employees here at CMH and was a top priority as we created the budget for the new fiscal year.

Welcome Dishang R. Bhavsar, M.D.

Citizens Memorial Hospital and the CMH Heart Institute Clinic welcome interventional cardiologist Dishang R. Bhavsar, M.D., to the medical staff. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible in interventional cardiology. Cancer Center Car Show is Sept. 21

The Fueling Up for a Fight Car Show is Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Douglas Medical Center, 1155 W. Parkview St., Bolivar. Proceeds benefit the Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center at CMH. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with breakfast starting at 8 a.m. The Survivors' Walk is from 10-10:30 a.m., with a live auction at 11 a.m. and the trophy presentation at noon.
