Head of School Search Committee Update
Dear Trinity School Community,

We are writing to share that the Head of School (“HOS”) Search Committee has been formed and is comprised of the following nine Trinity community members:  Britt Eason, Amy Voedisch, Salina Sung, Matthew Burt, Alice Li, Sue Krishna, Linda Rutherford, Joel Conkling and Ivonne King.  These people bring a wide variety of perspectives and skill sets to lead the Search process.  Participating on the Search Committee is a big commitment to the future of Trinity, and we greatly appreciate the dedication of this group. 

Over the coming months, the Search Committee will collaborate with the recruiting consultants from Carney Sandoe to ensure that the Search process is comprehensive and well-executed, ultimately leading to a hiring recommendation from the Committee to the Trinity Board of Trustees. The Board will then review the recommendation and make the hiring decision. 

We are now entering a critical few days of the search process, where the focus is on collecting input from the Trinity community on the characteristics the school should seek in its next HOS. To that end, Jennifer Christensen and Karen Whitaker from Carney Sandoe will be on campus today and tomorrow meeting with parents, students, faculty and staff to develop a comprehensive understanding of Trinity School. The Community Survey and a Zoom meeting are important options for input as well. Please take the time to complete the Community Survey and participate in any other forums if you're available. 1) Community Survey.  The survey asks for your input about the skills, experience and attributes that will be important in a future Trinity HOS.  The survey is anonymous. It will close on Friday, February 10, at midnight. The information gathered from the survey will inform the position description, the marketing document that goes out to candidates.  Complete the survey here.

2) Parent Zoom meeting.  Jennifer Christensen will host a parent Zoom meeting on Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 - 7:30pm. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and provide input. Please register.

3) Parent Listening Session.  Jennifer and Karen are available for conversation on Wednesday, February 7 at 9:30 am. Please meet them in the Library on the Upper Campus.
