Mickey Mabry, a faithful and dearly loved man of God, entered heaven on March 10, joining his wife Charlotte, who preceded him by several years. Mickey served the Pacific Church Network ministries on our board and finance team for decades. He gave generously of his time and resources. We have lost a pillar of leadership in our network, a man who spent his life investing in the kingdom of God. He is surely enjoying the richest of rewards. We will miss him and are grateful for his legacy of faithful service.
Mickey graduated from Berkley in Metallurgical Engineering and worked for many years in aerospace companies during the Space Race. Later, he changed careers and worked with his brother and son in real estate. After retirement, he enjoyed golfing and was an enthusiastic Laker fan, having season tickets for many years with his brother. He also spent many days attending the grandkids’ sporting and school events. Mickey and Charlotte were active in their church, Journey of Faith Church in Manhattan Beach, for many years, as well as the Conservative Baptist Home Mission Society (now Missions Door) and the Conservative Baptist Association of Southern California (now Pacific Church Network). He is survived by his son Milton (Michelle) Mabry Jr. and grandsons Dylan, Logan and Justin.
