Habakkuk 2:2-3 (KJV)
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
I can still hear and FEEL it in my bones the “old” Bishop Harry Mushegan preaching this TRUTH:
“YOU ARE TODAY WHAT YOU ENVISIONED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!”
As the old song crooned- DREAM DREAM DREAM-ALL I WANNA' DO IS DREAM!!”
I AM what I dreamed yesterday!!
I remember reading the CLASSIC writing of Dr Yongi Cho entitled “THE FOURTH DIMENSION.”
In his writing he planted the TRUTH of the above Scriptures and directed me/US to SEE what WE hoped to be and accomplish. Ya gotta see it to BELIEVE it!
I also learned the concept of WRITING out your hope, vision, and direction for each upcoming year through the “old” Bishop-a concept I still believe and teach called THE NEW YEAR PRAYER.
In order to SEE the future one must remember what God HAS DONE for us in the PAST!!!!!
I have both seen and been a recipient of COUNTLESS miracles in my over 50 years of walking with God.
Who can forget OLD Caleb-at 85 YEARS OLD-claiming/demanding his PROMISE:
Joshua 14:10-12 (KJV)
10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.
11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
Or Sarah and Abraham, who RECIEVED the PROMISED child at the ripe OLD age of 100!! SMILE-And Sarah was 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Genesis 21:5 (KJV)
5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
“YOU ARE TODAY WHAT YOU ENVISIONED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!”
In the book “THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE” author Rick Warren recounts the story of a cardiologist asking his heart patients a simple question:
“What do you SEE yourself doing at 100 years old???”
Sadly, most answered in the NEGATIVE, exclaiming they probably would not see that age themselves..................
But the wizened old doctor reported that those who answered in the affirmative had a much greater chance of long life and recovery from disease-
Can you say “THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING!!!!” Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.
The old hymn exhorted:
“ONLY BELIEVE, ONLY BELIEVE
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE-LORD I BELIEVE!!!!”
Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
TODAY, may each of us ACT on Jesus' Word:
HAVE FAITH IN GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
