"Give Thanks to Him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever."
~Psalm 136:4~
Dear Friends:
Happy Thanksgiving week! We hope that as Thursday approaches, you are able to find some time to slow down, pause, and really reflect on all of the things you have in your life to be thankful for, and then take a moment to praise the Lord! Far too often, as we get busy with life and everything it throws our way, we tend to forget how good faithful our Lord is. Our prayer for you this Thanksgiving is to be able to rest in his love, to be renewed in your faith and to focus on gratitude. Our God is a good, good God and worthy of all our praise!
We had such a wonderful Give Them Hope event a couple of weeks ago, and we just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who supported us in so many different ways, whether it was helping with the preparations, making a donation, sponsoring the event, praying over the ministry or attending in person, you all helped make it possible and we are so grateful!
Our Christmas Open House & Gift Market is coming up on December 11, from 3-5pm at our girls' home, 215 S. Main St. Join us for unique gifts and raffles, while enjoying festive refreshments, holiday music and beautiful decorations! Our boys' home and counseling center will also be open for more fun and tours! We are looking forward to this event and can't wait to see you there!
Please join us in praising Him for:
~The work He is doing in our young men and women!
~The fact that He is always providing what we need, even when we don't see it.
~ A successful Give Them Hope event!
Please also join us in prayer for:
~ Patience and direction on the best way to support the girls in their studies.
~ For the students to face their internal struggles and see the lies they've believed and that they would be willing to look to God to work through them.
~ For the parents of our students, as this new road is often hard for them as well.
Blessings,
Christen
