Greetings!
Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope your holiday was filled with fantastic food and even better
company, and that you're now basking in the post-thanksgiving glow.
We just wanted to drop a line to tell you you're high up there on
our list of all we're thankful for!
Take a peek at all we've been up to, and then go attack those
leftovers!

The
AOMC starts work on their new epic!
That's
right, we're back! We've just started to get our hands dirty in our
preliminary research with a fantastic team of collaborators.
In addition to the company - the
amazing Lillie
DeArmon, Cristina Jasen, Ilona Bito, Larissa Sheldon, Rowan Magee,
Cory Antiel, andJon Cooper -
we welcome a talented new group of researchers to our team! It's
our pleasure to introduce Lea Ives, Anna Adams Stark,
Michael Ingle, Ryan Page, Kirstan Clifford, Theo
Willson, andTara Willis,
as well as off-site researchers Alanna Coby
(San Francisco) and Saifan
Shmerer (NYC)!
To
give you a little taste of the newness:
"...a
research of tenderness and brutality, of
nakedness and fortification, and of what
physical and emotional extremism is possible when
located on a mattress. This is a research of physical bodies in
search of and performing "intimacy", and in
bringing a critical consciousness and destructive grit to the table
that already holds the (dangerous, engaging) high-gloss
seduction of virtuosic and/or sexual
bodies"
And
that's not all that's new - we'll be forsaking the stage for a more
interesting location...

Curate
the AOMC into your bed!
How'd
you like to be the proud owner of a one-of-a-kind showing from one
of NYC's hottest up-and-coming dance companies? Like many AOMC
ventures, this piece also a plays with experimental business - this
time we're exploring the possibility of making a flexible,
transmutable, multi-option, multi-owner piece - yum!
So...what does that even mean? Think about what would happen if
you crossed a dinner menu with the idea of shared ownership of a
work of art, and you're getting close.
We'll let you know the full details in January, but if you think
that you'd like to be an underwriter of this work and host a
showing, email us at theAOMC@gmail.com and we'll start the
conversation!

of the new epic!
