The Green Building Center and Simply Sustainable are proud to be women-owned businesses, and this month we gave a talk at one of the longest-running women's clubs in New Jersey. The Kalmia Club, established in 1892, aims to enhance personal growth and friendship through social, educational, cultural and civic programs. They invite various speakers to provide members with these personal growth opportunities, and this month Lia Nielsen and Mary Jane Augustine, Principle and Co-Principle of Simply Sustainable, were invited to speak at this event to a group of 40 Kalmia Club members. With a wealth of experience in fields such as Interior Design and Construction Law, they speak at educational events like these often to share their experiences and expertise.
