Canada is home to approximately 1 million people who are 2SLGBTQI+, and approximately 16.5% of them are 55+.

As we celebrate Pride Month 🌈, it's important to recognize and honor senior 2SLGBTQI+ community members. These seniors have paved the way for the freedoms and rights we enjoy today!

2SLGBTQI+ Seniors have lived through significant social changes, and their stories of perseverance and pride are an important part of our collective history. This Pride Month  , let's come together to celebrate the diversity and strength of all ages, together we can create a world where everyone is free to be their true selves.

In recognition of Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈 Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario 💜 has developed an Infographic with suggested ideas and resources, which could be considered when delivering educational services to 2SLGBTQI+ seniors, to help them live with dignity, respect and equality.
