Happy Passover!

Dear Friends,

For those enjoying a seder meal tonight, we will recount the journey of the ancient Israelites in Egypt from slavery to freedom. It is a story that begins with harsh oppression and ends in liberation.

The human condition plays out on internal emotional levels and in the external socio-political space. Freedom in both arenas is necessary to achieve true liberation. At the

seder we focus on overcoming the shackles of the past, enduring and enjoying the journey of the present, and walking in the direction of a future characterized by freedom from all oppression. As a metaphor for journeys throughout time of all people, the story has eternal relevance.

Wishing everyone a fulfilling and successful journey!
